Obituary of Patricia M (Horan) Quinn

Patricia M (Horan) Quinn, 73, of Peabody, passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning at Massachusetts General Hospital. Pat was the devoted wife of Robert g Quinn with whom she shared over 45 years of marriage. Born in Peabody, Pat was the daughter of the late Henry and Bernice (Kogut) Horan. She was raised in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School on 1960. After their marriage, Pat and Bob settled in South Peabody to raise their family. Pat was employed in the insurance industry for many years, retiring from Traveler’s Premiere in Danvers. Pat enjoyed weekend trips to New Hampshire, traveling with her husband and best friend, the late Nancy Reardon, and talking about her beloved grandchildren, Allie and Nathan. Besides her loving husband, Pat is survived by her son James Quinn of Chino Valley, AZ and his fiancé Petra, her daughter Beth (Quinn) Pratt and her husband Jason of Liberty Township, OH and her much loved grandchildren, Allison and Nathan Pratt. She also leaves many family members and close friends who loved her. She was the sister of the late Joan Melkunas of Florida. Pat’s Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 12:30 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Cedar Grove Ave, Peabody.
