Obituary of Lucien Rene Beaulieu

Lucien Rene Beaulieu, 94, of Peabody and formerly of Salem, MA died on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He was the husband of Jeannette (Cormier) Beaulieu. He was born in Salem on July 29, 1922, the son of the late Alfred and Alexina (Poussard) Beaulieu and was a resident of Salem for 75 years before moving to Peabody. Lucien had been a house painter for 45 years with the A. Berube and Sons Painting Co in Salem prior to his retirement. He first served in the C.C.C. and later entered the US Navy serving in WW 11 in Italy and later in France at Normandy before his discharge in 1945. He is survived by his wife Jeannette of Peabody, two sons and daughters-in-law, Lucien and Susan Beaulieu of Peabody and Jean and Tanya Beaulieu of Utah, his sisters Lorraine Marconi and Florence Owens both of Salem, two grandchildren a great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Bertram Beaulieu. A Private service will be held at a later date with burial at Sea. Expressions of sympathy may be made to any veterans organization. Assisting the family is the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home of Peabody.
