Obituary of Doris "Lilly" (LeBlanc) Iacoviello

Doris “Lilly” (LeBlanc) Iacoviello PEABODY – Doris “Lilly” (LeBlanc) Iacoviello, 88, beloved wife of the late Felix Iacoviello, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning November 2, 2016 at the North Shore Medical Center—Salem Hospital. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Lillian (Hodgdon) LeBlanc. She grew up in Lynn and graduated from Lynn English High School. She later lived several years in Washington, D.C. before returning to the North Shore area and met her husband Felix. She lived in Peabody for nearly 67 years. Mrs. Iacoviello worked as a secretary at The Pentagon in Washington, then had a 20 year career with Peabody Public Schools in the cafeteria. Lilly, as she was affectionately known, was an avid reader, had a gift for knitting and crochet, loved puzzles and crossword puzzles, and loved chocolate. Her most passionate embrace was her family, and was very devoted in the role of nurturing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She also volunteered at the Peabody Torigian Life Center with her husband for 13 years. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. She is survived by a daughter Karen Burke of Peabody; a grandson, William Pappas & his wife Tabitha of Peabody; two great-grandsons, Johnathon and Jaydon Pappas of Peabody, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Arthur White, Margaret Somers, and Rose Eileen Grant. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for her Funeral Service on Saturday November 5, 2016 at 10 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A visitation will be held on Friday from 4 – 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
