Obituary of Cecelia Iwanicki

Cecelia (Pabisz) Iwanicki 90, of Peabody, died early Tuesday morning at Hathorne Hill Healthcare in Danvers following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Frederick Iwanicki. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Kulewicz) Pabisz. She was a life long resident of Peabody and attended Peabody public schools. Cecelia was employed for many years at the former J.B. Thomas Hospital in Peabody as a cafeteria worked before retiring many years ago. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and word search puzzles and also enjoyed knitting and gardening as well. She is survived by her children, Frederick Iwanicki of Peabody, Arthur Iwanicki and Helen Iwanicki, her granddaughter Christine and her husband Michael Connolly of North Waterboro, ME and by three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Sophie Adamczyk and Edward Pabisz. Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
