Obituary of Robert A "Boze" Lindgren

Robert A “Boze” Lindgren, 70, died unexpectedly on Wednesday November 16, 2016 at the Lahey Medical Center Hospital in Peabody. Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late August Lindgren and Gertrude (Lahtinen) Lindgren Barry. He graduated from Peabody High School. Although he lived in Florida a few years, he was a lifelong resident of Peabody. Mr. Lindgren worked as Inventory Control Specialist with Eastern Airlines in Boston. He later worked with Hawkes Auto Parts of Peabody until retiring five years ago. Boze enjoyed spending time playing Keno at the North Shore Mall in Peabody, gaming trips to Mohegan Sun Casino, and loved golfing. He was a member of the B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge 1409 of Peabody. He is survived by a sister Janet Hazel of Exeter, NH; a niece Michelle Johnson of Exeter, NH; a nephew Norton Hazel, II of Peabody, and four great-nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a visitation on Tuesday November 22, 2016 from 4 – 7 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a brief Funeral Ceremony at 7 P.M. Cremation will follow, with urn burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery at a future date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
