Obituary of Angelo C. Trovas

Angelo C. Trovas, 78 Peabody, April 6, 2006. Angelo C. Trovas, 78, of Danvers and formerly of Peabody, died suddenly Thursday evening at his home. Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late Christ and Maria (Limberis) Trovas. He was a lifelong resident of Peabody, attended Peabody Public Schools and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1945. He has been living in Danvers for the past four years. He was a veteran of the United States Army who served stateside during the Korean War. After the war, he worked for a few years for the General Electric Company in Lynn. He later was self employed and was a property manager and maintenance man for his rental properties. He also was a farmer who raised chickens and grew vegetables with his brother, Peter. He enjoyed collecting gold coins. He had spent the last couple of months at the Pilgrim Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Peabody recuperating after fracturing his knee cap a couple of months ago. He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Milton and Janet Trovas of Pensacola, Fla, and a niece and nephew, Donna Ford of Georgia and Chris Trovas of Florida. He was the brother of the late Peter Trovas and step brother of the late John Laskarris. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
