Obituary of Fabio Pinto

Fabio Pinto, 84 PEABODY – Fabio Pinto, 84, beloved husband of Berta Santos Capela Pinto, died peacefully on Saturday November 19, 2016 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, following an extended illness. Born in Villa Real, Portugal, he was the son of the late Manuel J. Pinto and Rosa Lopes Pombal. He came to the United States and lived in Peabody for the last 46 years. Mr. Pinto was a Leather Worker with Bond Leather for many years. Fabio enjoyed living a quiet life at home with family and friends. He enjoyed growing grapes and making wine, and was a generous person who would always be willing to help anybody. He is survived by his wife Berta Pinto of Peabody; two sons Edward Pinto and Acacio Pinto both of Peabody; a daughter Maria Pinto of Peabody; a granddaughter Haley Pinto of Peabody. He was from a family with 9 siblings between Portugal and USA, he has two brothers Ernesto Pinot and David Pinto both of Peabody, and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Wednesday November 23, 2016 at 10 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Peabody. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 – 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
