Obituary of Ilie P Baedita

Ilie P Baedita, 93, of Peabody, passed away peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Tuesday November 22, 2016 following a brief illness. He was the husband of Gerlinde (Urban) Baedita with whom he shared over 55 years of marriage. He is survived by his son Peter and his wife Sheila Baedita of Florida, his daughter, Monica and her husband Paul Broughton of Peabody, and by his beloved grandchildren, Christina, Nicholas, and Sarah, and by his brother Radu of Romania. Ilie was predeceased by his parents Marina and Ilie Baedita, his sister, Yohanna, his brothers, Jonel and Dumitru. He was an avid gardener who loved to travel. His jovial demeanor will be deeply missed by all. His Memorial Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday December 10 at 11:00 AM at the Messiah Lutheran Church, Chestnut St., Lynnfield, MA 01940 to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Roger B. Trask Adult Day Care Center, 75 Central St., Peabody, MA 01960.
