Obituary of Bonnie Paige
Bonnie Paige 65 passed away on Friday November 25, 2016 at North Shore Medical Center, Salem MA after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. She is the daughter of the late Manuel and Frances (Stevens) Mello.
Bonnie was born, raised and educated in Peabody. She was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School. For many years, Bonnie worked as a home health aide and worked in retail. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, cooking for her family, and shopping. Most of all, She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was a devoted mother to six beautiful children Tabatha Mello of Peabody, Angel Thongsythavong and husband Khamphone (Boc) of Salem, Patience Mello of Salisbury, Antonio Olaes of Lynn, Wyatt Paige of Peabody and Wendy Paige-Desmond and husband Taylor of Peabody.
In addition to her children, she is survived by three sisters Margaret Hills of Beverly, Shirley Mello of Beverly and Helen Mello of Salem. She is the loving Nana of 24 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Visiting hours will be held at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn Street, Peabody, on Friday from 5 to 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Memorial donations may be made in Bonnie’s Memory to the Vietnam Veterans of America at www.vva.org.
