Obituary of Georgianna Mello

Georgianna V. Mello PEABODY Georgianna V. Mello, 92, a lifelong Peabody resident, died Saturday morning at the Grosvenor Park Nursing Home in Salem. Born in Peabody, on February 20, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Candida (Thomas) Mello. She graduated from Peabody High School. Miss Mello was a Quality Control Director at GTE Sylvania on Loring Ave in Salem for 44 years of service. She retired 26 years ago. She was a member of the Quarter Century Club of GTE Sylvania, a longtime communicant at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Peabody, and a member of the Holy Ghost Society. She is survived by: a grandniece-in-law, Dawn Espinola of Windsor,MA; two great-grandnephews, William Espinola, III and Andrew Espinola, both of Windsor; a great-grandniece, Danielle Espinola of Windsor. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Espinola, brothers Antonio Mello and Charles Mello, and a nephew William Espinola. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut ST. location, Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Peabody, to which friends and relatives are kindly invited. Burial will be in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem.
