Obituary of Alice M. (Conwell) St. Pierre

Alice M. (Conwell) St. Pierre 93, of Peabody, wife of the late Richard W. St. Pierre Sr., passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Brudnick Center for Living in Peabody with her loving and caring family at her side. Alice was born in Salem on May 7, 1923 the daughter of Henry J. and Georgianna (Sansoucy) St. Pierre. Raised and educated in Salem, she moved to Peabody in 1986. For many years she was employed in the cafeteria at the Bentley School in Salem until her retirement. Her joy in life was to spend time with her family and friends. She took great pride in following grandchildren’s achievements. Alice enjoyed attending and spending time with her friends at the Peter Torigian Community Center in Peabody. As hobbies loved playing cards and crocheting. The family also wishes to thank the staff at the Brudnick Center and Crowninshield Management for their compassion and care given to their mother. Alice is survived by her children and their spouses, Richard W. Jr. and Armida St. Pierre of Peabody, and Rose and David Beaulieu of Hampton, NH, her cherished grandchildren, Tina St. Pierre, Stacy Kimball, Scott St. Pierre, Greg Beaulieu, Michelle Wildes and Cristen Spinale, her 8 great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild; a sister and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at 82 Lynn St., Peabody, which will be followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Adelaide Church at 708 Lowell Street, Peabody. Her committal of ashes will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Salem.
