Obituary of Gerald "Butchie" Cervone

Gerard A. “Butchie” Cervone, 69, of Peabody and formerly of Malden, loving father of Gia Cervone of Winthrop and Samantha of Utah, also survived by three nieces, Trisha, Stephanie, and Caroline and by two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Mary (DeFrancisco) Cervone, and by his sister Adeline Drake. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War who served with the United States Marines, and later before retiring, was a driver for Stop-n-Shop for 10 years. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial with military honors will be held on Thursday at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
