Obituary of Florence T. (Perry) Kipouras

Florence T. (Perry) Kipouras BEVERLY – Florence T. (Perry) Kipouras, 91, beloved wife of the late Charles W. Kipouras, died peacefully on New Years Day January 1, 2017 at the Blueberry Hill Healthcare Facility in Beverly, following an extended illness. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Sarafin and Sarah (Cunha) Perry. She grew up in Peabody, and lived over 50 years in Beverly. Mrs. Kipouras had worked a few years at A.C. Lawrence Leathers in Peabody and in custodial services at Endicott College in Beverly. Florence lost her husband while her sons were very young, and as a devoted mother she had a strong, resilient approach to life. She enjoyed reading, swimming and the beach at the ocean, and was a cat lover. She is survived by a son, Charles R. Kipouras of South Portland, ME; a brother Daniel Muise and a sister Frances McLaughlin both of Peabody, and many nieces and nephews. She was mother of the late George Kipouras who died in 2013, and sister of the late Sarafin Perry, John Perry, Raymond Muise, Larry Muise, and Alice Kardenetz. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Friday January 6, 2017 at 10 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 – 7 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Harmony Grove Cemetery, Salem.
