My sincerest sympathies to The Deluca family. I have just read of his passing and it brought back many great memories. As I read the guestbook comments I recognized many great Peabody names. Jerry was two years ahead of me at PHS, and I really got to know him later when he and his brother John would visit the " underground ."Their sence of humor would turn the place upside down in a matter of seconds. Like so many others, I can recall 1 million stories. Lyon Van Lines was never the same when Jerry left.
Rest in peace my old friend, and I'll see you on the other side.

I am saddened to hear the loss of my good friend Jerry. He was my good friend from my Peabody High School days. Our happy days at PHS will never be forgotten. I remember him as a PHS baseball teammate and "boy he could hit it out-of the-park'. During the many PHS reunions, I always could kid him on his baseball weakness, and that was "he could never hit a curve ball". I also remember the early 60's, when my wife and I lived on a 3rd floor apartment, Jerry would walk up to deliver milk and we thought the house was going to cave in. I can go on and on to discuss what a great guy Jerry was and he surely will be missed by his family and friends. My wife and I are unable to attend because we live so far away.
Our prayers & friendship are with you all. RIP Jerry
John & Carol Mulligan, Littleton, Colorado

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Jerry. I remember meeting him back in the mid 60's just after his retirement from professional football. I got to know him thru my dad Maxie Kravchuk, and always enjoyed his booming laugh and great attitude. We are all going to miss him and I want to express my condolences to Jerry's family.

Mike Kravchuk Beijing China

So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I remember him fondly and remember his humor. I couple years ago, I walked ahead of him down a stairway. He knew I was there to help him in case he needed any help. He stopped me and said " Will, what will you do if I fall? I'll crush you like a bug." We both laughed at that thought. May he rest in peace.
