Obituary of Laszlo Gurdon
Laszlo Gurdon, 65 SALEM – Laszlo Gurdon, 65, died unexpectedly on Friday January 13, 2017 at the North Shore Medical Center—Salem Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Mosonmagyarovap, Hungary, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Berainger) Gurdon. He lived there for 10 years, and his family moved to the United States settling in Marblehead. He lived in several different homes, and recently lived in Salem for several years. Laszlo enjoyed painting, knitting, pottery, and doing crochet. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, George & his wife Sharon Gurdon of Peabody, Georgianna Doka & her husband Alex of Reading, a sister-in-law Elizabeth Gurdon of Salisbury, and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was brother of the late Steven Gurdon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a visitation on Tuesday from 6 – 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 7:45 P.M. Cremation will follow.
