Obituary of Antoinette "Toni" Hartnett

Antoinette “Toni” (Killalee) M. Hartnett, 88, of Peabody, died Friday morning at Beverly Hospital following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of Richard F Hartnett with whom she shared over 66 years of marriage. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Kidney) Killalee. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of St. Mary’s Girls High School. She has spent the last 50 years living in Peabody. Toni enjoyed raising her family and upon her husband’s retirement she enjoyed wintering in Naples, Florida. She also maintained a life long friendship with the girls from St. Mary’s and they enjoyed playing dominos, drinking coffee and traveling throughout Europe, and their highlight was going to the Amazon River. Besides her loving husband of 66 years, she is survived by her son, Anthony J Hartnett of Derry, NH, her daughters, Elizabeth Ann Partaledis of Peabody and Susan J. Shepard of Derry, NH, her daughter-in-law, Tonianne Bongiovanni, and also survived by her six grandchildren, Amanda Burroughs, Stephen Partaledis, Patryck, Richard, and Ciara Shepard, and by Alexis Hartnett. She was predeceased by her son Richard F Hartnett, Jr and her sister Eileen Buchannan. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30 – 11:30 AM. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., Peabody.
