Obituary of Linda Caroline Cicerchia

Peabody, Formerly of Lynnfield – Linda Caroline (Peterson) Cicerchia, 87, beloved wife of nearly 50 years of the late Anthony P. Cicerchia, passed away Monday, February 6th at the Brudnick Center for Living in Peabody. Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Freddy and Grace (Toye) Peterson. Linda grew up in the Abington and Brockton area. In her younger years, Linda’s talent and beauty gave her the opportunity to become a professional singer and a model. When She and her husband began their family, she dedicated herself to her children and home. Linda was a great cook, a lover of all animals, especially cats and dogs and enjoyed traveling to a variety of places with her husband and many friends. She went back to work in her sixties and became an assistant clerk for the Registry of Deeds, Land Court in Salem, where she stayed for over 10 years. Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will truly be missed by her family and many dear friends. She is survived by two children: Freddy A. Cicerchia and his wife P.J. O’Clair of Manchester-by-the-Sea and Carla M. Cicerchia of Lynnfield; one grandchild: Meredith Cicerchia and her husband Joseph Williams of Nottingham, England; and one great grandson: Chase Williams; along with many friends and extended family members. Visiting hours will be held at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn Street, Peabody on Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 17 Grove Street, Lynnfield on FRIDAY at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Linda’s Memory to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave, Salem, MA 01970 or to an Animal Charity of their choice.
