Obituary of Katie A McClory

Katie A McClory, 34, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Friday morning at home. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Dean R and Karen J (Clifford) McClory of Peabody. She was a life long resident of Peabody and a graduate from Peabody Veteran’s Memorial High School, class of 2001. After attending North Shore Community College, Katie worked in the retail industry as an esthetician for many years. She was a very friendly and beautiful talented girl who enjoyed drawing and was an excellent artist. She also loved singing and playing sports especially gymnastics when she was younger. Besides her loving parents, she is survived by her daughter Tessa A. Vaughn of Peabody, her brother, Joshua R McClory of Peabody, her maternal grandparents, Robert J. and Frances A Clifford and Raymond L and Barbara M McClory, her step grandfather Charles Swirka of Naples, FL, and by several very close cousins, aunts, and uncles. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A private family service will be held following the visitation at 8:00 PM. Burial services will be private.
