Obituary of Cynthia Mandragouras

Cynthia Mandragouras, 86, of Peabody, died Thursday evening at the Beverly Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Agnes (Batsinelas) Mandragouras. She was a life long resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody High School. Cynthia was employed for over 38 years as an assembler for Sylvania in Salem before retiring many years ago. She enjoyed reading and watching all of Boston’s professional sports teams as well. She is survived by her sister, Dena Walter of Danvers and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, John, Theodore, and Georgia Mandragouras, Olda Panousis, Rose Stathpoulos, Mary Tillas, and Helen Nixon. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
