Obituary of Eleni (Zejno) Nakuci

Eleni Nakuci, 77, of Peabody, loving wife of Lilo Nakuci, died peacefully at her home in the early hours of Sunday, February 12, 2017. Born in Albania, she was the late daughter of Pando and Afroviti (Maronidhi) Zejno. She lived there most of her life, but came to the United States 16 years ago and became a U.S. citizen. In addition to her husband Lilo, Elini is survived by two daughters, Mimoza Papa of Danvers and Enkeleda Nakuci of Peabody, one son, Apostol Nakuci and his wife Brunilda of Salem; two granddaughters, Mirtula and Irini Papa and two grandsons, Kevin and Jason Nakuci, and several other extended family and friends. She was also predeceased by her sister Janulla Londi on January 14, 2017. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 9 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 7 Paleologos St., Peabody. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14th from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody.
