Obituary of Maria Rosa Paulino
Maria Rosa Paulino, 88, of Peabody, died Sunday evening at the North Shore Medical Center, Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of Anebal Paulino of Peabody with whom she shared over 55 years of marriage.
Born in Avis, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Felipe and Magarida Rosa (Das Neves) Vieira. She was raised and educated in Portugal and has spent the last 55 years living in Peabody.
While living in Portugal taught in the elementary schools and upon arriving in the United States she dedicated her self to her family. Upon her husband’s retirement, she enjoyed traveling around the country and Portugal.
Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her sister, Edite Biscaia of Salem, her four step-children, and by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings, Jose Felipe and Elisiario Vieira and Maria Pinto.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
