Obituary of Brian T. LeBrasseur

Brian T. LeBrasseur LYNN – Brian T. LeBrasseur, 48, died after a brief illness at his home on Friday February 24, 2017 in New York City. Born in Lynn, he was the son of Linda (Palin) LeBrasseur. He grew up in Lynn and graduated from St. John’s Prep, Class of 1986. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in English from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. Brian was previously employed with Hearst Publications as a Circulation Manager in Charlotte NC, and Manhattan, NY. Brian had a creative, artistic spirit. He was a writer, a published poet, an artist and a musician. He loved music, especially the Grateful Dead, was a competitive disc golfer, enjoyed bicycling through Central Park and traveling the US and abroad. He is survived by his mother Linda LeBrasseur and her husband Scott Jewell of Lynn; his brother Michael LeBrasseur and his wife Rebecca of Whitinsville; his sister Kelly LeBrasseur of Saugus; his niece and nephew Olivia and Nolan LeBrasseur of Whitinsville; and his maternal grandmother June Mansfield of Lynn. He is also survived by aunts and uncles which include; Thomas Palin, and his companion Julie Connolly, Debra and Michael Smith, Richard and Ann Mansfield, and Lori and James Gorynski, and Marie and Alan Ball. He also leaves many cousins and friends who had touched his life. Brian was predeceased by his father, John LeBrasseur. Following cremation, A visitation will be held on Tuesday March 7, 2017 from 4 – 7 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for his Memorial Service on Wednesday March 8, 2017 at 12:45 pm in the funeral home.
