Obituary of Carole A Caley

Carole A. Caley, 73, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Cape Canaveral Hospital, after a medical emergency. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Mary (McCarthy) Calder and the late Daniel Calder. She grew up in Peabody, MA and graduated from St. John’s of Peabody, class of 1961. Mrs. Caley worked in several careers over her lifetime, including Banking, Airline Attendant and Travel Agent. Carole was a longtime volunteer, most recently working with the Lions Club near her residence in Lake Alfred, FL. She enjoyed world travel, Caribbean cruises, bingo and casinos. She is survived by her husband, George A. Caley of Lake Alfred, FL; sister Janice Judge and Husband Matthew Judge of Amherst, NH; two children, John C. Caley and Wife Jennifer Hogan-Caley of Beverly, MA and Jennifer L. Caley of Malden; and seven grandchildren. Following cremation, relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for visitation Sunday, March 19th from 12:00 - 3:00PM, at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
