Obituary of Normand S. Poirier
Normand S. Poirier DANVERS / PEABODY -- Normand S. Poirier, 64, died unexpectedly on Friday March 24, 2017 at the Lahey Medical Center Hospital in Peabody, following a long illness. Born in Nashua, he was the son of Lena (Rioux) (Poirier) Tusinsky of Peabody and the late Donald D. Poirier, Sr. He worked in construction as a roofer, and was recently a Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) at the Hogan Regional Center in Hawthorne/Danvers until having health issues. He enjoyed being outdoors riding a motorcycle, snowmobile, or hunting. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Lena J. Tusinski and Stanley E. Tusinski of Peabody; his fiancé Marva Kellman of Danvers; a brother Donald D. Poirier, Jr. and sister Donna Davis both of Nashua, and four nephews among extended family and friends. Relatives and friends may gather on Thursday March 30, 2017 at 11:30 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody for a Graveside Committal Service at 12:30 P.M. with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. If desired, those who wish may contribute to a memorial fund c/o Lena Tusinski, Peabody.
