Sad to read about Al. We were together at Miramar, and thankful we spoke occasionally over the phone the last 4 years. May he rest in peace.

Alfred was an uncle I respected for his intelligence, quick wit, and dedication to his family. We enjoyed so many good times together either fishing, playing cards, exchanging emails or just shooting the breeze. He will never be forgotten. Love you Al!

Jack of all trade's and he mastered them all...that was Al, or Uncle Al as we respectfully called him. He never took on an endeavor half way Clearly there are no words that can describe his passing. Al has been a family friend since the 1960's, a best friend to my own dad, and a mentor to me my entire life. We had take literally hundreds of hunting and fishing trips over the decades, each one better than the last. He was always willing to teach...on the water, in the woods, and in life in general. He never gave me bad advice. I consider myself so very fortunate that he was able to have such a life-long positive impact. His loss is physical in additional to emotional. The world is a lesser place without him. A giant of a man with an even bigger heart. Sincere condolences to his family.

AL was my uncle but he was more like my brother. We went on many many trips together. Camping, fishing etc. We had a lot to share around the camp fire. He will be truly missed. I loved him truly. He was a very special person. I pray that God is good to him.
