Obituary of Michael S. Espinola

Michael S. Espinola, 38 of Peabody, passed away Saturday night from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was the beloved husband of Elsa (Abreu) Espinola. Michael was born in Salem, MA on February 4, 1979, son of Joao and Isaura (Soares) Espinola. He was raised in Peabody and attended Peabody Public Schools. Michael worked as a driver for JRM Recycling in Peabody. Michael had a love for cars, whether it was upkeeping his personal car, washing it, or working on model cars, which took a lot of patience and time. He also enjoyed vacationing, especially going to a beach, watching any of the New England sports teams, going to the Salem Willows, or just spending time and making memories with his children. Michael was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Besides his loving parents, he is survived by his wife Elsa (Abreu) Espinola; his daughter, Savanna Espinola; his step-son Alec Olsen; brothers-in-law, John Serodio & his partner Anastasia Santos, Carlos Camara; a sister-in-law, Aldina Camara; his nieces & nephews, Kyle Camara, Carlos Camara Jr., Jaxon Camara, Sophia Serodio; a godson, Antonio Pascoal; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A visitation will be held for Michael on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 8:30A.M. – 10:30A.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A funeral service will follow at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1 Margin St. Peabody at 11A.M. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
