My mother, Pauline (Pierce) Crean, was June's girlhood chum; they graduated High School together and kept in touch throughout their adult lives for many years. Dean and I were in Miss Elliot's first grade class together at the Samuel Brown School! I am very sorry to hear of her passing and send warm condolences to you all.
