We are so lucky knowing you and Cathy for over 30+ years. You were such a sincere, thoughtful, generous person. You taught us how to play golf and brought us to the real course the 1st time. You invited us (including our dogs) to enjoy Pawtuckaway lake each summer, barbecued the best steak, chicken and fish. Having you as friend enriched our life. We miss you and you will always be in our heart. Kung's family; James, Hope, Monica, Matthew, Xiao, Da, and Choung

After coexisting with lung cancer for 7 years and still being able to live a happy life, Kwo finally left us. Kwo is one of our best friends and the Lai family has been very close to us in the past 30 years. Mrs. Lai, Cathy, was my colleague at Wang Labs and Kwo's son Elmer was my colleague at Airvana. Kwo taught us how to play golf and we played golf regularly in the summertime for more than 10 years. We also went to Florida every year for golf vacation. 8 years ago, when I was very sick, he always helped me load and unload my golf bag. Every year, the Lai invited us to their lakeside cottage to enjoy boating, picnics and sunsets. These wonderful memories will remain in our hearts forever. We deeply grieve losing Kwo, but at the same time we celebrate the beautiful life he lived. Kwo, we love you and will miss you forever.

love, Jennifer and Frank

Kwo was the nicest man on earth. He always thought of others. With lung cancer for the past 7 years, he was so positive that no one would notice he went through Lobectomy, brain tumor removal, etc. We had good memory playing golf, lake canoeing, ocean cruising together with him. Rest in peace, Kwo. We love you. Ming & Ling Tsai

April 16, 2017 Dear Cathy,
Jane and I are devastated to learn that Kwo-Hrong had left us. About half century ago, I was the best man in your wedding. And, Jane was his classmate in Tamkang University for one year. We all bumped into each other in the Chemistry Department of Umass at Amherst in late 1960's, We became close friends ever since. We deeply treasured his unreserved help in many ways. And, of course his immense generosity will forever stay in our memory. A few days ago, God took the best from all of us. Kwo-Hrong will be forever in our heart. Thanks Kwo-Hrong, rest in peace. t

No words can adequately express the depth of our feeling, for we have lost a dear friend. Kwo has been a role model to our Good Neighbors Group; he was a loving, generous and cheerful person in his everyday life. We have witnessed in these late 7 years how he bravely fought against his illness without complaints or being an absentee in our group activities; Kwo, you have fought a sublime fight. We love you!

All of your friends in the southern California will miss you very much. We cherish your easy-going friendship and years of travel companionship with us. Your kindness and generosity have touched us deeply. In each phone call that you made to Celia and me, you always asked our latest health conditions, the latest news of each of our children and grandchildren, as well as many of our mutual friends. Celia and I are so thankful to have known you for several decades. If only we could receive another FaceTime video phone call from you. Rest in peace, my dear friend.
