Obituary of Richard M. Bergeron

Richard M. Bergeron, 47, of Salem, MA died peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the Hospice House in Danvers, Ma with his loving family at his side. He was born in Salem, MA on July 13, 1969, the son of Richard J. and Janice C. (Lentz) Bergeron and was raised and resided in Salem all his life. He was a graduate of Bishop Fenwick High School in 1988. Richard enjoyed boxing in his younger years and was a two time Golden Gloves winner in the Greater Lowell area. He also enjoyed watching his beloved Boston Bruins and the Red Sox and recently enjoyed going to Ft. Myers, Florida and seeing some spring training games there. He also enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends. He is survived by his parents of Salem, a son, Nicholas Bergeron and a daughter, Jordan Bergeron both of Salem, MA, a sister, Kelly Batista and her late husband Duane Batista of Salem, his nieces and nephews, Christopher Batista of Boulder, Co., Alicia Batista, Jake Batista and Samantha Keith all of Salem, a brother and sister-in-law, George and Kristina Gikas of Salem and many friends. A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 5,2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anne Church, Salem at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
