I met Gene at MIT about 15 years ago, at the High Speed video course at my Center. I was helping out with some of the timing and if needs for the course, but my colleague told me to stop what I was doing to make sure I was present for Gene's presentation. " you've got to see his videos and listen to his explanation of how we set up all his equipment, there's nobody out there better ." We will all miss him.
