Obituary of Gregory J Mello

Gregory J Mello, 31, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Sunday at Salem Hospital. Born in Danvers, he was the son of Iris (Makridis) Mello of Peabody and the late Adolfo Mello. He was a lifelong resident of Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 2004. He enjoyed fishing, doing security systems and loved watching the Patriots and Red Sox. Gregory also had a passion for animals as well. Besides his loving mother, he is survived by his three brothers, Timothy, Michael and John Mello, all of Peabody, his grandfather, Yani Makridis, and by his aunt, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. His funeral will be on Friday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, followed by his Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Paleologos St. Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
