Obituary of Lillian E. (Brown) Lermond

Lillian E. Lermond, of Peabody Massachusetts passed away suddenly on May 24, 2017 at Massachusetts General Hospital at the age of 75. She was surrounded by her loving son, grand daughter and log-time close friend James Walsh. Lillian was born in Middleton Massachusetts, the daughter of Lydia and Richard “Dick” Brown. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her daughter Leanne. She is survived by her former husband George Lermond and daughter Mechelle Kulesza, son-in-law Wally Kulesza as well as her son Richard Lermond. She was the beloved grandmother of four grandchildren: Ryan, Morgan, Ashley and Nathan. Lillian was born and raised in Middleton and Peabody Massachusetts. She graduated from Peabody High School in 1960 and remained very active in the community until recently. She was proud of her 40-year career in the country club and restaurant industries, including decades of loyal service at the Salem Country Club, King’s Grant and the Wardhurst. She maintained close friendships with many coworkers through her career and after her retirement. Lillian’s family was a blessing and constant source of pride and joy for her. She was intensely proud of her children and grandchildren. She was actively involved in their lives and thoroughly enjoyed family visits, travel, and hearing of various accomplishments or adventures. She genuinely cared deeply about her loved ones and was fortunate to have some of them holding her hand as she peacefully passed from this world. The services will be held at Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Hall on 82 Lynn Street, Peabody, MA. The viewing will be Tuesday, June 6th from 4:00 to 8:00pm and the funeral will be held at 11:30am Wednesday, June 7th. Relatives and friends are kindly invited
