Obituary of Stephen C Piazza

Stephen C Piazza, 90, of Peabody, died Saturday morning at the Rosewood Nursing Home in Peabody following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Mary (Benvenuto) Piazza. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Calogero and Accurzia (Ciulla) Piazza. He was a veteran of WWII who served with the United State Army and was honorably discharged in January of 1946. He was employed as supervisor in the meat packing industry for over 33 years before his retirement. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his daughters, Ann Piazza of Peabody and Maria Theresa Cuppernell of FL, his son, Charles L Piazza of FL, his sister, Lucy Marino of Lynnfield, his brother, Agostino Piazza and by his 8 loving grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings, Ignacius “Nat” Piazza and Jenny Piazza. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 5 – 8 pm at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home followed by his burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
