Obituary of Mary T. (McInnis) Sorell

Mary T. (McInnis) Sorell PEABODY – Mary T. (McInnis) Sorell, 70, died unexpectedly Sunday morning June 18, 2017 at the North Shore Medical Center—Salem Hospital. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of Doris (Simpson) McInnis of Peabody, and the late James McInnis. She grew up in Peabody, graduated from Peabody High School, and lived her whole life in Peabody. Mary recently worked and retired from NSCAP where she was a home health aide. She enjoyed playing Bingo at the Knights of Columbus in Peabody, and enjoyed her nurturing role taking care of her grandchildren and lately caring for her mother at home. She is survived by two sons, Edwin A. Sorell, Jr. & his wife Caroline and Matthew Sorell & his longtime girlfriend Kristy Coleman all of Peabody; three grandchildren, Harry, Haley-Mae, and Nathaniel Sorell of Peabody; her mother Doris McInnis of Peabody; a sister Barbara Bennett & her husband Thomas of Peabody, a brother James McInnis, Jr. & his wife Ellen of Peabody; four nieces & nephews, James McInnis, III, Jeffrey McInnis, Laurie Ball, and Cheryl Bolles. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a visitation on Wednesday June 21, 2017 from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. Ann’s Church, Peabody.
