Obituary of Paul R. Caines

Paul R. Caines, 82, of Peabody, died peacefully suddenly at his home on Sunday, June 18,2017. He was the husband of Carol I. (Goddess) Caines with whom he shared 19 years of marriage. He was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on April 19, 1935, the son of the late John and Hilda (Swingle) Caines and was raised and educated there. He entered the US Navy and served in the Korean War prior to his discharge in 1955. Paul had been employed with the TWA Airlines at the Logan Airport, Boston for 30years. He later was employed at the Gold Star Video store in Rowley, MA and later worked as a security guard at Allied Security before retiring a few years ago. Paul enjoyed watching western movies and was an avid New England Patriot’s fan as well. He is survived by his wife, Carol, a daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Bob Allison of East Falmouth. MA. Two step daughters, Danielle and her husband Leonard Sparks of East Thetford, VT and Kimberly Shuckra-Gomez and her husband Alexander Gomez of Lynnfield, a step-son Thomas Shuckra of Peabody, MA a grandson, Rob Caines of Erie, PA and a great grandson, Casey Caines of Cape Cod, three step grandchildren, Karolena and A J Gomez of Lynnfield and Leo Sparks of VT, his brothers John Caines of Florida and Lawrence Caines of PA and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A Funeral Service will be held there on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
