Obituary of Jean Elizabeth (Robinson) Tudor

Jean Elizabeth (Robinson) Tudor, 88, of Peabody, beloved wife of the late Melton P. Tudor, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the Rosewood Nursing Center, Peabody. Born in Northwood N.H. on July 17,1928, Jean was the daughter of the late George and Carolyn (Drew) Robinson. She was raised and educated in Northwood and was a graduate of the Co-Brown Academy. She later resided in several US locations including New York and Indiana before settling in Massachusetts, first in Lynn and then, for the past 54 years, in Peabody. Jean was a dedicated homemaker, who was devoted to the raising of her three children as well as to being an active participant in their activities such as baseball games, hockey games or school events. She enjoyed spending time with her group of loyal neighborhood friends. Jean was a talented knitter and craft-maker who shared her beautiful creations with her family and friends. She regularly knitted hats and gloves for charitable organizations. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, helping them with their arts and crafts, and thoroughly enjoyed watching them participate in their sporting events. Jean had a love for all animals, especially her beloved dog Bridget. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by two sons, John Tudor and his wife Gail of Middleton, Paul Tudor and his wife Shirley of Northwood, N.H. a daughter Carol (Tudor) Bernazzani and her husband Richard of Peabody, her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Rendon, Julie and Michael Bernazzani, Allison, Casey and Corey Tudor, Travis and Spencer Hardwick and his wife Jamie and Dierdre Doucette and her husband Tim, her great grandchildren, Angelica and Jose Rendon and Bryson Doucette, her siblings, Everett Robinson, Marjorie Bassett and her husband Donald, all of Northwood, N.H., Barbara Emery and her husband Fred of Ohio, and her sister-in-law Barbara Tudor of New Harbor ME and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 10:00 until 11:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility followed by a Service at the Funeral Home at 11:30 A.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
