Obituary of Eleanor (Kohut) (Amaral) Trowt

Eleanor (Kohut) (Amaral) Trowt, 82, of Peabody, died Sunday At the Salem Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Anthony Amaral and George B. Trowt. She was born in Peabody, the daughter of the late Ignace and Victoria (Wronkowski) Kohut, she was a lifelong resident of this city. She had been employed at various electronic plants on the Northshore before her Retirement 35 years ago and since then enjoyed her relationship with her husband George Trowt prior to his death in 1997. She is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-Laws, Maureen (Holden)and Bart Casey of Danvers and Toni and Bill Butler of Topsfield, 2 sisters, Emily Silva and Marion Heckman both of Peabody, 7 grandchildren, Debra, Robert and David Holden, Deanna and Dana Butler and Michael George and Laura Trowt and 3 great grandchildren; 3 step-Children, Douglas W. Trowt of Salem, Charles Trowt of Florida And Lydia Trowt of Beverly, Ma.. She was the sister of the late Helen Kushnieruk and Katherine Michaud. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 20 Church St., Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’ s Church at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice Of the Northshore, 10 Elm St., Danvers, Ma. 01923.
