Obituary of Jennie M. (Brolewicz) Bovio
Jennie M. (Brolewicz) Bovio, 94 PEABODY -- Jennie M. (Brolewicz) Bovio, 94, beloved wife of the late Americo “Max” Bovio, died unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday July 4, 2017. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Laura (Lewandowski) Brolewicz and was a lifelong resident of the city. Mrs. Bovio worked as an Assembler with GTE Sylvania in Danvers for many years. Jennie enjoyed doing the Japanese style stitching of Bunka, and listening to a wide variety of music. Intellectually curious, she was an avid reader and enjoyed learning new things or just enjoying fiction novels. Her strongest passion was her devotion to family, and spending time with her cherished children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter and two sons, David Bovio and his wife Stephanie of Fort Myers, FL, Michael Bovio and his wife Nancy of Beverly, and Laura Leawood and her husband Ken of Peabody; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a sister Regina “Reggie” Brolewicz of Naples, FL and many nieces and nephews and extended family. She was sister of the late Anthony “Tony” Brolewyc, Edward Leonard, Leo Brolewicz, John Brolewicz, Chester Brolewicz, Helen Kosidlak, Stacia Medeiros, Mildred Brolewicz, and Josephine Castronova. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Sunday July 9, 2017 for a visitation from 12 Noon to 3 P.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St. Peabody, with a Funeral Service at 3 P.M. All are welcome to gather on Monday at 9 A.M. from the funeral home followed by a Graveside Committal Service at 10 AM in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem for burial.
