Obituary of Vera (Aiello) Sacco

Vera (Aiello) Sacco, 85 , of Danvers and formerly of Peabody, died Thursday morning at the Kaplan House Hospice in Danvers after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph Sacco. She was born in Revere on November 6, 1920, the daughter of the late Dominick and Jennie (Fortunato) Aiello . She was raised and educated there before moving to Peabody in 1963. She had resided in Danvers for the past 6 months. She had been a co-owner along with her husband of the North Shore Auto Body on Route 1 South in Danvers and worked there for many years prior to her retirement. She loved to cook and lately spending time with her loving grandchildren. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jospeh and Linda Sacco of Peabody, two daughters and a son-in-law, Joanne Dolan/Snyder of Peabody and Joyce and David Buccheri of Danvers, six grandchildren, Mark Dolan of Lynn, Dawn and Jennifer Sacco of Peabody and David, Joseph and John Buccheri all of Danvers and many nieces and nephews. She was the last of 14 siblings of the Aiello/ Spinelli Family and was the grandmother of the late Gina Buccheri. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 unitl 8:00 PM at the Conway,Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Richard Church, Danvers at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of the No Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers, MA 01923 in her memory.
