Obituary of Lucille Alice Samson

Lucille A. Samson, 77 LYNN – Lucille A. Samson, 77, of Lynn passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones after a battle with cancer. Lucille worked hard all her life to provide a beautiful life for her family, and she will be remembered as a loyal and generous friend. Lucille was the daughter of the late Alice and Fausto Samson and she will be missed by her surviving family: siblings, James and Carol Samson, and Lorraine Keough, by her cousin, Skippy Tavares, her children, Lorraine and her husband Ron Boyd, Raymond Judit and Anthony Ponticell; her precious grandchildren, Troy, Shauna and Daniel Bode, George Hartney, Justin, Jason and Jessica Ponticelli, Brenna and Dacey Mcafee; her great grandchildren, Ariana, Nathaniel, Aubree, Isabelle and Sophie, her niece Laura Keough, and nephews Jim and Matthew Samson and also Alex, Tori, Emma, Daniel and Jared. She was a long time Patriots enthusiast, an avid reader and could answer every question of Jeopardy, and also enjoyed crocheting, knitting and her cats. Her family is comforted to know she will be reunited with those who predeceased her; her daughter Jacqueline Desjardins, her grandchildren. Andrew Desjardins and Thomas Hartney, her nephew Chip Keough and her brother-in-law, Fred Keough. "E ho’omaha me ka maluhia a us halawai hou.” Lucille’s family will be receiving friends on Thursday, July 27th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility.
