Obituary of Anna (Chronis) Nekolopoulos

Anna (Chronis) Nekolopoulos, 88, of Florida, and formerly of Peabody, died on Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Dunnellon, Florida after a short illness. She was the wife and partner of the late Arthur Nekolopoulos. Anna was born in Peabody, Ma on September 14, 1928, the daughter of the late Peter and Evagelia (Perrotes) Chronis and had resided in Peabody most of her life before moving to Florida last year. She and her husband were partners at the former Charty’s Restaurant in Peabody and later operated the former Vic’s Restaurant in Danvers for many years which is now called the Sylvan St. Grille. She had been an active member of St. Vasilios Greek Church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nikki and Tom Bairos of Dunnellon, Florida, a brother George Chronis of Peabody, four grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Sharon Nekolopoulos of Peabody and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Peter Nekolopoulos. At her request, a Service will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Vasilios Church 5 Paleologos St., Peabody. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
