Obituary of Harold M Bruce

Harold M Bruce, 82, of Peabody, beloved husband of Ingeborg (Gottinger) Bruce of Peabody, son of the late David and Mary (Powers) Bruce, loving father of Michael and his wife Cynthia of Peabody, Harold Bruce Jr and his longtime companion, Eileen Gallahue of Billerica, David and his wife Cathy Bruce of Peabody, John and his wife Anna Bruce of Farmington, NH, Heidi and her husband Fred Chabra of Georgetown, and Maria and her husband Shawn Queenan of Everett, brother of David J. Bruce of Everett, Paul Bruce of Melrose, Richard Bruce of Peabody and Joan MacLean of Peabody. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 4 siblings, Catherine Cordaro, John “Jack” Bruce, Edward Bruce, and Alice Hill. Harold was born and raised in Everett, he also served in the United States Army for over 22 years and was a combat veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam Wars and retired as Company 1st Sergeant. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a graveside service at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
