Obituary of Shirley E (Martell) (Bailey) Paulino

Shirley E (Martell) (Bailey) Paulino, 80, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Friday August 4, 2017 at the NSMC Salem Hospital in Salem. She was the devoted wife of the late Leo Paulino who died earlier this year. She was born in Haverhill, MA on December 2, 1936, the daughter of the late Howard and Margaret (Sullivan) Martell and had resided in Danvers before moving to Peabody 37 years ago. Shirley had worked at the living and learning day care Center for a few years before taking time to raise her family. She was a nurturer and loved raising her family, her dogs and flowers and plants helping them grow to maturity. She was a member of the Maple St. Congregational Church, Danvers. She is survived by her sons, Albert Bailey, Kevin Bailey and William and his wife Cathy Bailey all of Peabody, a daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and Richard Hathaway of Danvers; her two brothers, Robert Martell of Haverhill and Albert Martell of Groveland, her precious nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
