Obituary of Zachary J Jacavanco

Zachary J. Jacavanco, 24, of Danvers, died Monday morning at his home, a result of an unexpected seizure related to a head injury when he was a child. Born in Beverly, he was the son of John J. Jacavanco of Danvers and Renee (Marshall) Jacavanco of Danvers. He was a lifelong resident of Danvers and was a graduate of the Learning Prep School in Newton, Class of 2011. He then attended Marion Court College and received his bachelor’s degree in 2015 in Criminal Justice. He continued his education at Endicott College and received his Master’s in Homeland Security in 2016. Zachary was first employed with TSA in 2016 and was currently employed with Securitas as a security supervisor. He was a fitness buff who enjoyed sky diving, scuba diving, Jujitsu, and loved traveling. Besides his loving parents, he is survived by his brother, Damon Jacavanco, a Master Sergeant, who is currently serving in the United States Marine Corps stationed at Camp Pendleton of CA, along with his wife Jessie Jacavanco. His sister Jocelyn Jordan who is a Chief Warrant Officer 3, currently serving in the United States Marine Corps stationed at MCAS New River, NC, his maternal grandparents, Maria and Charles Kelley of Peabody, and Paul Marshall of Danvers, his two nieces, Anyah Jordan, and Zoie Jacavanco, and his nephew, Corbin Jacavanco, he is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and his “Big Brother” Gavin Keenan of Ipswich. Following cremation, a Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
