Obituary of Constantine "Dino" Andrianos
Constantine “Dino” Andrianos, 92, of Peabody, died peacefully Wednesday morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of the late Georgia (Stathopoulos) Andrianos. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late John and Francesca (Richter) Andrianos. He was raised and educated in New York and upon marrying his wife, has lived in Peabody for the past 70 years. Dino was a veteran of World War II who served with the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in January 1946. After the war, Dino attended Purdue University for two years and then was employed as a refrigeration specialist whose career lasted over 40 years as a commercial installer and retired from Pioneer Engineering in Salem. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who dedicated his life to his family and upon the death of his wife, he took care of ill son John for 8 years at home until his death in 2005. Dino was a “jack of all trades” and true handyman. He was well known in his neighborhood and was affectionately known as Papou to all the children and families. Prior to his wife’s death, they enjoyed their trips to Florida. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Raul Pedrosa of Peabody, his daughter-in-law, Karen Andrianos of Greensboro, NC, his beloved four grandchildren, Jason and Joshua Andrianos of Greensboro, NC, Derek Pedrosa of Methuen, and Deidra Pedrosa of Peabody, his six great grandchildren, Jason Jr, Kaylah, Maddox, Jacob, Alexis, and Dylan, and he is also survived by his three dear friends Sharky Markos of Ipswich, as well as Charlie and Anne of Danvers. He was predeceased by his son John Andrianos and his sister Eva McCook. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by his Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at St. Vasilios Church, Paleologos St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Expressions of sympathy can be made in his name to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St, Danvers, MA 01923.
