Obituary of Brenda J. (Hudson) Hutchinson

Brenda Joyce (Hudson) Hutchinson, 77, of Beverly, MA died Saturday at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA after a short illness. She was born in Peabody, MA on April 4, 1940, the daughter of the late George and Esther (Liston) Hudson and was raised in Peabody graduating from Peabody High School in 1958. Brenda had been a secretary and bookkeeper at the Myopia Hunt Club in Hamilton for the past 30 years prior to her illness. She enjoyed going to the North Shore Music Theater in Beverly. She had been an avid skier at the King Ridge Mountain in New Hampshire. She liked watching the Soaps on TV and taking a trip to Alaska. Her most precious time was taking care of the grandchildren and being for her family. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Robert E Powers of Danvers, a son and daughter-in-law, William Hutchinson and Shannon Downey of Peabody, her sister and brother-in-law, Winnie and George Swanton of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, a brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Susan Hudson of Manchester by the Sea, her grandchildren, Robert Kennedy of Beverly and Carly Powers and Eric Powers of Danvers and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Linda Shea. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17. 2017 from 10:00 until 11:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility followed by a Service at 11:30 AM.
