Obituary of Bertha E. (Wansley) Mulley

Bertha E. (Wansley) Mulley, 83, of Peabody died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday august 30, 2017. She was the wife of the late Herbert L. Mulley She was born in Peabody on May 2, 1934, the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth T. (Kanerva) Wansley and was a lifelong resident of the city and a graduate of Peabody High School in 1951. She had been employed at the North Shore Bank, formerly the George Peabody Co-operative Bank for over fifty years prior to her retirement last year. She had been a member of the First United Methodist Church of Peabody. Bertha is survived by her two step-daughters, Susan Wildman of Saugus and Nancy Opidee of Danvers, her four step-grandchildren, Kevin Wildman and Lisa Wildman of Saugus, Eric Opidee and Alex Opidee of Danvers and two step-great-grandchildren, Megan Wildman and Ryan Wildman of Saugus. She also leaves many aunts, uncle and cousins from New York and Macon, Georgia. A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility from 10:00 until 11:30 AM followed by A Service there.
