Obituary of Eleanor Ann (Mello) Hogan

Eleanor Ann (Mello) Hogan, 74, of Salem, wife of the late Michael R. Hogan, died on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the Mass General Hospital Boston. She was born in Peabody, MA on June 23, 1943, the daughter of Rita (Brunet) Mello/ Johansen and the late Raymond Mello and was raised in Peabody. She later resided in Lynn before moving to Salem 28 years ago. Eleanor had been an executive housekeeper for the Salem Waterfront Hotel in Salem. She enjoyed going out with her friends to different restaurants and had been a member of the Salem lodge of Moose. She is survived by her mother, Rita Johansen of Salem, a son, Ernest C. Beaulieu of Peabody, a brother Raymond Mello of PA, her husband’s parents, Charles and Sally Hogan of Florida, and many nieces and nephews including Raymond and Rhonda Mello. A Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
