Obituary of Rory T Lockard

Rory T. Lockard, 33, of Salem, lost his battle with addiction on Friday, September 1, 2017 after many years of sobriety. Rory was born on August 27, 1984, in Beverly, to Dennis and Gail (Maki) Lockard. Over the past several years, he worked with his father in construction. He was beloved by his family and friends who enjoyed Rory’s artistic talents, sense of humor, and fierce loyalty. He enjoyed a simple life at home where his loving parents always provided a warm bed and home-cooked meal. In addition to his parents, he leaves behind a brother, Samuel and his wife Rebecca of Beverly, grandparents, Oakley and Gloria Lockard of Hamilton, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Johannes and Virginia Maki. Visiting hours will be from 1:00 -4:00 PM on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody. Interment will be at a later date.
