Obituary of Virginia F. (Larrabee) LeBoeuf

Virginia F. (Larrabee) LeBoeuf, 78, of Peabody, died peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Care One Nursing Center Peabody with her family by her side. She was born in Peabody on November 17, 1938, the daughter of the late Clarence C. and Florence (Pratt) Larrabee and was a lifelong resident of Peabody. Virginia was a graduate of Peabody High School in the class of 1957 and had been a waitress at Kowloon Restaurant in Saugus for 32 years prior to her retirement in 2005. She enjoyed traveling taking trips to Hawaii and also Las Vegas and going to Foxwoods. She was a nurturer to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved to cook and bake cakes and decorated many wedding cakes for her family. She also enjoyed going dancing and was called the Peabody Softball Queen in her youth. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Margie Le Boeuf of New Braintree, MA three daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Al Bettencourt, Linda and John Silva and Diane and Mark Delp all of Peabody, her siblings and spouses, Albert and Sharon Larrabee and Robert and Patricia Larabee all of Peabody and Florida, Nancy Weinburgh and Debra Mitchell both of Peabody, Ruth and Lester Seymour of Boxford, Kathleen and Thomas Actis of Florida, her grandchildren, David, Louie, Michele, Daniel, Christopher, Kristina and Jonathan, 18 great grandchildren, a great, great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Raymond Le Boeuf, the great grandmother of the late Daniel Le Boeuf Jr. and the longtime companion of the late Joseph Cherbuy. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A Funeral Service will be held there on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
